I found a masjid near the UN and I have fallen in love with it. I have to drag myself out of there after praying (and I hardly leave after prayer, more like 4 hours later). The women’s floor is clean and it smells good. And the carpet is so comfortable and there is working air conditioners. To top it all, its usually almost always empty and I have never felt more peaceful in a place than I have felt in that Masjid. Now, I look forward to going to the UN just because of my little safe haven in between events.
